Good job GG writers for glorifying an abusive, selfish romance instead of the only honest and supportive relationship on the show ever. You actually made character progress and then completely devolved them into their child high school personas by the end of the season just to fit your wretched 'omg OTP'. Do the writers think that people watching the show forgot how Chuck nearly raped two girls, almost hit Blair, sold her for a hotel, had sex with (underage) Jenny the night he wanted to ~propose~, etc., etc.? This has gone far beyond the show being awful, it went into 'holy shit, what message are you trying to send with this to the girls watching' territory - that relationships based on mutual respect, similar interests and honesty are SO BORING and you need drama and continuous self-doubt to be "omgromantic!!!11"? Well guess what writers, those 'boring' relationships are what real, successful relationships look like. Most of the season you kept giving Blair and Dan lines that spoke of working together and support (making me think that yeah, you're finally giving valuable life lessons to the younger girls watching the show to redeem yourself after the previous bullshit), but NOPE, gotta' crash and burn that, gotta' get supposedly now smarter Blair to choose... fucking Chuck. Really, show? Really?

tl;dr why do I have so many feels.png for this shit show anymore?
